Truckee Nevada

Fished the Truckee in the Trophy Section today. We hooked and released several nice rainbows, browns and a cutthroat. I have never fished the section before. It felt like we far away in the wilderness but it is only 20 minutes from my home. Enjoy the pics

Truckee/Little Truckee

Recent trip to the Truckee and Little Truckee. The wading was tough with the high flows but it was good to be out. Hooked a couple of small bows on the LT and one on the Truckee.

Lower Sac Day 1

Nice way to start the season with a 2 day float of the Lower Sacramento with my fishing buddy Larry and guide Gabe from the Clearwater lodge. Gabe got us into a number of nice fish today and he is an awesome guide. I had not fished in quite some time, but within 2 minutes after the start of the float I landed a 19 inch bow! The best fish of the day! Larry landed a number of nice fish as well. Beautiful day, lots of sun and nice scenery!

Day 2 tomorrow! Can't wait....
